We are welcoming experienced and driven sustainability professionals interested in joining our team as a Sustainability Senior Associate and contributing to sustainability and ESG consulting projects across Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific region.

As a Sustainability Senior Associate, you will be responsible for supporting and leading the delivery of sustainability and ESG engagements, working closely with clients, project teams, and senior leadership. The role involves translating sustainability objectives into practical strategies, conducting technical and market analysis, developing client deliverables, and supporting organisations in advancing their sustainability and decarbonisation agendas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of sustainability and ESG consulting projects from inception through completion.

• Conduct sustainability assessments, research, benchmarking, and data analysis.

• Support and/or lead GHG accounting, carbon footprint assessments, and decarbonisation initiatives.

• Develop sustainability strategies, roadmaps, action plans, and implementation recommendations.

• Support the preparation of sustainability reports and other ESG disclosures in accordance with relevant standards and frameworks.

• Support ESG assessments, ratings, and benchmarking, including GRESB and other relevant frameworks.

• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, proposals, and other client deliverables.

• Coordinate with clients and project stakeholders to collect information, clarify requirements, and ensure timely project delivery.

• Review project outputs and ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of technical deliverables.

• Research emerging sustainability trends, regulations, market developments, and industry best practices.

• Support business development activities, client presentations, and identification of new opportunities.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Architecture, Business, Economics, or other relevant disciplines.

• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant professional experience* in sustainability consulting, ESG, climate, decarbonisation, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of sustainability and ESG concepts, frameworks, and industry developments.

• Experience in delivering consulting projects and working with multiple stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines independently.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following will be an advantage:

• GHG Protocol and GHG accounting

• Sustainability reporting and ESG disclosures

• GRESB

• GRI Standards and other sustainability reporting frameworks

• Climate risk and decarbonisation

• Net-zero strategies and transition planning

• ESG ratings and assessments

• Green building and sustainable real estate

• Sustainability-related regulatory and policy developments

Relevant professional certifications are also an advantage.
